we return in a few days

so wednesday we come back to teh air waves following up the fantastic show the fallout shelter with alan schulze. yep no longer do we follow up my show with andy p but a new show, so give it a try maybe you'll like it.

so this week we have lots of cool tracks that i have decided to throw together. i came up with a new way to do it this semester by leaving my entire library on shuffle and playing whatever came up that i liked LOL how brilliant of me

so we got new music as well from Motion City Soundtrack (solid new album My Dinosaur Life), we also have a new track from our lovely mates Los Campesinos! (decent follow up album, they lost a member).

in the coming weeks we'll see new music from:
-Rogue Wave (amazing new album)
-Laura Veirs (stellar new stuff)
-The Magnetic Fields (haven't heard yet)
-Hot Chip (have to listen to it LOL)
-Titus Androcinous (i spelled it wrong)
-Final Fantasy (stellar acoustic-like stuff)
-Ok Go (awww hell yah)
-Spoon (transferring the awesomeness)
-Vampire Weekend (sucks the blood outta you)
-Broken Bells (danger mouse + the shins = sex)
-Eels (why have i fallen so far behind)

Screwed the Pooch

i have been paying attention of late to teh conan/leno fiasco over at nbc and a lot of people are showing support for coco which if you ask me is amazing but sadly it's a little too late

the nbc execs are poor decision makers if you ask me giving conan less than a year to establish a credible audience and it's only now with his cancellation in the coming days that the viewers are tuning in

coco has always done an amazing job with whatever he has been apart of, writing for SNL and the Simpsons and the Late Show as well as the Tonight Show. i've decided to watch the show in teh past week or so and don't understand why coco is being pulled other than both him and leno aren't getting what nbc wants in the terms of viewers.

i'll update this post later when i have time but for now all i can say is i'm with coco

and ps kyle and tim are returning next wednesday to the airwaves @ 10 pm, so unless kur execs do the same thing look forward to a great show

It's been a while

hey guys i know it's been a while since i last updated, almost two months ago, but a lot has been happening whether or not you like it or not. mike and jim over at nevermind the mainstream have been preparing top lists from 2009 and to be honest i was trying myself and well i failed miserably hence the lack of updating LOL

also i spent the past month or so slaving away at a thankless job so that also hurt my updating prowess. many new things have happened, new albums by Motion City Soundtrack, Los Campesinos! have dropped and are listenable and people they aren't terrible.

this semester me and tim return again to bring you the most lethal radio show ever...

so i leave you with this
