The Return

yes folks that is right i return from the depths of the vile monster known as the flu and you know what, it deserved to die and now it is dead. so what do i have in store this week? i have no clue because you just have to tune in to the show and find out now won't you? anyway, tim did a great job subbing all on his own last week so he deserves a pat on the back or a nice bit of butt checks. anyway i have been listening to some of the stuff that those punks over at Nevermind The Mainstream play (nevermindmainstream.blogspot.com) and i have to say i dig some of that shit. so if you are bored on fridays check them out from 6 pm to 8 pm. shameless plug for mike pop there but srsly i did start listening to at least two bands that i plan on playing tonight from them so give them a shot, i mean jim adair is a bit of a jerk off and pretentious but mike pop keeps him in line.

so the other day i encountered a new yeah yeah yeahs track entitled "zero" and "heads will roll" and i have to say i really like the more calmed down approach that they have taken. they are a great talented band but sometimes when they go all angsty and punk like with their girl power [only the singer has ovaries] her voice gets screechy and annoying like, apparently the new album leaked on kanye west's blog/fansite that the label of his supports or at least that is what i heard. the album has popped up on several of the sites i visit on a regular basis. but i will not say whether or not i have tuned into it or have it for the sake of the blog and my integrity. but the lyrics are ok on these songs and they just seem to feel better than some of the tracks on previous albums.

also a little forewarning to peer-to-peer listeners on lastfm. apparently they gave the data that they have unknowingly to either universal records or RIAA this past week mainly because of the new U2 album which had leaked online. is it possible for the RIAA or Universal Records to persue a legal action against the listeners who happen to have illegally attained this album? well my thoughts on the thing is that well what they can do is they can track down the listener pending on how much information they happen to have put up on the site and they can track them down and track down from them the site they got it from thus closing down the site that put it up or the person who leaked it directly. hmmmm i know this doesnt really fit this blog but it just goes to show you how nazi like the industry is. its fine for me to talk about this being involved in the music biz atm but will it affect U2 if the album is illegally downloaded beforehand? theyll still sell millions and make their crazy mad money. it's U2 for the first time in four years.

speaking of bands that haven't released any original material in four years a new Green Day track was found on the internet. the name of the track is called 21st Century Breakdown. turns out the album is gonna be called that and that it has a rough release date of MAY 2009!!!!!! i was being sarcastic with those exclamation points by the way. the song sucks and i think Green Day should either quit or go back to writing about masturbation and what not because politics just ain't their cup of tea. Srsy who wants to listen to a group of middle school drop outs telling us, college and high school students/GRADUATES what we should be thinking or doing. Green Day should die in a fire in France.

okay now that i am angry enjoy this video...

Sorry bout no show

sorry guys about not being on the air on tuesday. i may not have been there but i believe our good pal tim was there. so i cannot say what was played as to the fact that i was down and out for the count with the evil vile flu. here's hoping i can get one more show in before spring break which will be until march the eighth but when we return it will be epic

now for new shit, i really cant think of anything new that has been happening to the show other than the fact that we have developed a poster for advertising the show on our college campus and are currently designing a t-shirt which has been taking forever since we are losers like that and just cant seem to get it done so please dont be hating lol

OHHHH IT's FRIDAY THE 13th TREMBLE

why is today [Friday the Thirteenth] such a big deal? I don't know, I find it quite ironic that it happens to come right before Valentines Day which makes it an ironic day, I think men in relationships and single women should be more terrified...lol. Well i looked forward at the calendar to see when such an event would occur and ironically March 2009 also has this Friday in mind and then we only go a few more months to November 2009 when it happens again and then fortunately we are spared until August 2010. But tomorrow is Valentine's Day so let's give some love to love songs! LOL
