Brand New Weezer

well this is news. weezer who as we all know is putting out a new album this year, the tentative release date is October 27th. other than that there is no news on the new album. as far as we know it's untitled.

so going online today i stumble across the newest single from the upcoming weezer album. it has a long name and i have to say its really really good. i know i said this about pork and beans which thus gave me hope for the red album (it was ok, way better than make believe). this song gives me up for album number seven.

if you are hankering for more weezer info check this site out.

as for the blink album i have heard absolutely nothing on it. so the speculation as to whether or not it is real remains a true question. the band reunited, they are touring but nothing new has surfaced. checking up on blink's site i found not a sinlge drop of news on the album or anything. if it is real expect a 2010 drop within the first quarter.

but this year we have seen quite a few pleasantly surprising new albums
-Franz Ferdinand --> Tonight Franz Ferdinand
-Wilco --> Wilco (The Album)
-The Decemberists --> The Hazards of Love
-Yeah Yeah Yeahs --> It's Blitz
-Peter, Bjorn and John --> Living Thing
-Matt and Kim --> Grand
-Morrissey --> Years of Refusal
-Placebo --> The Battle For The Sun

and in the coming months we have
-Arctic Monkeys --> Humbug
-Imogen Heap --> Ellipse
-As Tall As Lions --> You Can't Take It With You
-The Flaming Lips --> Embryonic
-Muse --> The Resistance
-Porcupine Tree --> The Incident

sounds like a few more solid months (all of those albums due out soon are in August/September) so we'll have a great start to the show, keeping you up to date with music!
